Restored by Reel to Reel Heaven, this professional Otari MX5050 BII2 Analog Tape Recorder has been restored to Excellent condition. The deck has been completely analyzed, cleaned, lubricated and tested. Heads have been aligned and adjusted to optimal position. Heads are warm and tested on all frequencies.  

All switches, pods and contacts treated with deoxitD5.  All functions (Fast forward, Rewind, Play) are strong and fast. Transport feels very smooth. Recordings and playback are crystal clear. This deck is capable of 3.75, 7.5 & 15 ips. This is a 1/4 track stereo tape deck. It records, and plays back ¼ track, in 1/4" tape. All lights, buttons and controls work as they should. This deck records and plays back with fantastic quality and definition. It's in fantastic shape and in perfect working condition, but as with all vintage electronics selling as-is.  It comes with: Studio gold nab hubs. Reels are not included.
